TSL Tapedeck: Elegos – Laments for the Fallen (Greece, 2016)

Greek black metal act Elegos has just dropped their new album ‘Laments for the Fallen’.

Elegos (ἔλεγος) was the name of ancient Greek mournful songs, followed by the tunes of a pipe.
Elegies were poems developed in verses of two lines. In the beginning, these were religious poems, but were afterwards transformed to war poems, praizing and inducing acts of heroism.
